The Assistant Director of Admission within the Rowan University, Division of Global Learning & Partnerships (Rowan Global) - Marketing & Enrollment Management (M&EM) works directly with the Director of Admission & Enrollment Management in the coordination of recruitment efforts to attract adult students to Rowan Global academic programs. This includes assisting in the development and implementation of efforts designed to achieve overall enrollment goals.  The incumbent in this position will interface with other departments within Rowan Global as well as academic departments to facilitate the accurate depiction of program offerings both in recruitment efforts and the development of publications. The person in this position may also be required to enter data into University/Rowan Global Information Systems. The Rowan Global Assistant Director of Admission reports to the Director of Admission & Enrollment Management.



  • Coordinate and attend Rowan Global sponsored recruitment events including information sessions and open houses
  • Manage requests from departments for attendance at off-campus recruitment events and conferences including ordering and provision of publications and promotional items
  • Provide reports to the Director of A&E detailing results of outreach and campaigns
  • Serve as a backup to Recruiters in responding to prospective student inquiries and walk-in appointments
  • Work with the Director of Admission & Enrollment Management and Director of Advertising to develop and evaluate communication plans aimed at attracting and enrolling adult students
  • Assist with streamlining admissions operations and application processing through automation and consolidation of systems
  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials such as fact sheets and brochures
  • Facilitate the process of developing or updating academic programs via the Rowan Global Academic Program Review Portal
  • Create and maintain documentation of academic program information
  • Work with university Analytics, Systems, & Applications (ASA) to retrieve and manage codes and attributes necessary to track certain student populations
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with key constituents involved in admissions processing (e.g., academic advisors) and academic program development
  • Stay abreast of policy and regulations governing graduate and transfer admissions
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Some evenings and weekends required




  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three (3) years professional experience in admissions
  • Experience using Banner SIS and admissions CRM
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to end users and other campus stakeholders
  • Experience with project collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and work well independently
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated, results oriented, with a customer-focused attitude
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based applications. 


  • Master’s degree in Higher Education, Education Counseling or related field
  • Experience working with the adult student population
  • Supervisory experience in a higher education setting
  • Public speaking experience
  • Experience using SalesForce CRM

The report contains information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, public safety authority, crime reporting policies, fire safety, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to security on campus. The report also contains information about fire statistics in Rowan University Residential Facilities and crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. This information is required by federal law, Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act or "Clery Act" and is provided by the Rowan University Department of Public Safety.
