Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine is currently seeking a part time Mental Health Clinician to join our growing Department of Psychiatry located in Southern New Jersey.  This is a grant funded position.  The candidate will participate in the assessment/treatment of the clinical needs of the clients, assist in the development of appropriate treatment plans/programs, provide clinical supervision as needed and provide psychological assessments or full evaluations of clients referred by the Division of Youth and Family Services.  Additionally, you will recommend appropriate treatment, programs and services, advocate for the needs of the client or families.  Essential to your success will be your ability to provide expert testimony and/or fact witness testimony to family courts, as well as, provide educational information to case managers, supervisors and division attorneys, in relation to psychology and families of children who have been neglected and/or abused.

Ideal candidates will possess a Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. in psychological discipline and be licensed in NJ.

Candidates must be fully qualified to conduct psychological evaluations of adults or children, including psychological testing.  Expert testimony may be required for family courts.  Case consultation and education for collaborating professionals, as well as client advocacy are also involved.  Experience with abuse, neglect and trauma seen in child welfare settings is helpful.

Our clinical campus is located in Southern New Jersey, which is within the Philadelphia metropolitan area approximately eight miles from Philadelphia, one hour from the Atlantic Ocean and two hours from New York City.

The report contains information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, public safety authority, crime reporting policies, fire safety, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to security on campus. The report also contains information about fire statistics in Rowan University Residential Facilities and crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. This information is required by federal law, Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act or "Clery Act" and is provided by the Rowan University Department of Public Safety.
