The ASPIRE to Teach Educator Preparation Program (EPP) was recently developed in response to the newly revised NJDOE regulations for alternate route programs. This program is for employed teachers who have not completed a teacher preparation program but have met state requirements and have been issued a CE/Limited CE. ASPIRE is a hybrid program that offers both a 50-Hour Pre-Professional Component and a Two-Year Program (Semesters 1-4). The program includes weekly online modules, video coaching, and monthly Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings, which occur on Saturdays, with whole-group time usually 8:30am-11:30am.
This position is an in-person, part-time appointment (@20 hours/week) with dedicated office space in James Hall, 3rd floor Center for Access, Success, and Equity. Technology (computer, phone) is provided for this position. |
