Certified Medical Assistant - Child Abuse Research Education and Service Institute (CARES), Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine Stratford, New Jersey
The Certified Medical Assistant plays an important role in the comprehensive care of pediatric patients in an outpatient setting. This position involves both clinical and clerical responsibilities to support physicians and advanced practice clinicians. The incumbent is expected to interact with children, adolescents, and families in a compassionate and professional manner while adhering to the established policies and guidelines of the CARES Institute and supporting the mission of the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine, Virtua Health College of Medicine and Life Sciences at Rowan University.
Clinician/Therapist (LAC/LSW) (Social Worker II) Stratford, New Jersey, Vineland, New Jersey
Approved clinical supervision provided toward LCSW/LPC. Gain experience utilizing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), a short-term, evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. As part of a multidisciplinary team under the direction of Esther Deblinger, Ph.D., co-developer of TF-CBT, responsibilities include conducting assessments of children who have experienced trauma and providing therapy to children and families impacted by child sexual abuse, physical abuse, and other traumas. Services may be provided in-person and/or by telehealth. Didactics on various topics related to childhood trauma as well as formal training and supervision in TF-CBT provided. A full-time one-year position with an option for additional years is available for qualified candidates interested in this specialized training opportunity. We are accepting applications for the position of Associate Program Director for Physician Assistant Studies. Residency Requirements

Rowan University is subject to the residency requirements of the NJ First Act (N.J.S.A. 52:14-7, P.L. 2011, Chapter 70). Any person hired to a non-exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey or have one (1) year from the date of employment to establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey. Any person hired to an exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York or have ninety (90) days from the date of employment to establish, then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York.
