The College of Science & Mathematics which houses the School of Earth & Environment seeks to hire a full-time temporary Assistant Teaching Professor with expertise in food systems to teach existing and new food-related courses, support the development of Regenerative Food Systems curricula, and coordinate farm demonstration sites. The Department of Computer Science at Rowan University seeks to hire an open-rank, non-tenure track, teaching professor to begin their appointment in January 2025. The Department values diversity as a factor in academic excellence. We seek candidates who are passionate about teaching and mentoring students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition to teaching responsibilities, successful candidates are expected to make meaningful and substantive service contributions to undergraduate and graduate programs and the Department of Computer Science. Successful candidates are also expected to participate in professional development to stay current in their content area and evidence-based instructional approaches. Teaching Professor is a 10-month full-time, non-tenure track teaching faculty. Successful candidates will teach 24 credits over two semesters, with an option to teach overload and summer classes for additional compensation. Teaching Professor positions are renewable, with expectations for renewal of two, three, four, and five years per contract.

The Department of Psychology at Rowan University, the third fastest growing public research institution as recognized by The Chronicle of Higher Education, is seeking to hire tenure-track faculty to begin their appointment in September 2025. This search is part of a broader, multi-year faculty hiring initiative across the College of Science & Mathematics. Outstanding candidates with a strong research program in Human Factors Psychology, particularly those with applications related to health and/or technology, are preferred but candidates with research in any area of Psychology will be considered. Example research foci include, but are not limited to, biomechanics, healthcare solutions, artificial intelligence, human performance, and human-computer interactions. A Ph.D. in Psychology, Human Factors, or a closely-related field, is required with a conferral date no later than July 1, 2025. Professional experience is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with a track record and/or potential to establish and sustain a strong research program. We anticipate hiring at the Assistant Professor level, but outstanding candidates may be considered at the Associate or Full Professor levels. Residency Requirements

Rowan University is subject to the residency requirements of the NJ First Act (N.J.S.A. 52:14-7, P.L. 2011, Chapter 70). Any person hired to a non-exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey or have one (1) year from the date of employment to establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey. Any person hired to an exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York or have ninety (90) days from the date of employment to establish, then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York.
