The Department of Computer Science at Rowan University seeks to hire an open-rank, non-tenure track, teaching professor to begin their appointment in January 2025. This search is part of a broader, multi-year faculty hiring initiative across the College of Science & Mathematics. Outstanding candidates with a strong research program in Human Factors Psychology, particularly those with applications related to health and/or technology, are preferred but candidates with research in any area of Psychology will be considered. Example research foci include, but are not limited to, biomechanics, healthcare solutions, artificial intelligence, human performance, and human-computer interactions. A Ph.D. in Psychology, Human Factors, or a closely-related field, is required with a conferral date no later than July 1, 2025. Professional experience is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with a track record and/or potential to establish and sustain a strong research program. We anticipate hiring at the Assistant Professor level, but outstanding candidates may be considered at the Associate or Full Professor levels.
