This information is required by federal law, Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act or "Clery Act" and is provided by the Rowan University Department of Public Safety.

SUMMARY:

Assisting in the coordination of the Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses from inception to evaluation in conjunction with the Director and associated staff members.

 

Coordination and set up of Zoom and WebEx CME course events, setting up presenters, presentations, break-out rooms.

Event coordination (room scheduling, A/V scheduling, catering orders, security notifications).

 

Updating faculty agreements, content review forms, outcome and evaluation surveys, disclosure forms, attestations forms, handouts, Updating survey software (Qualtrics) forms sign in sheets for CME programs.

Assist in collecting materials necessary for CME programs (CV’s, learning objectives, disclosures, presentations, photos).

 

Assist in completing travel paperwork, honorarium vouchers, and other University forms as needed.

 

Update information for CME activities on our mobile event software application.

 

Tracking of registrants for CME events.

 

CME event emails to registrants with instructional information.

 

Preparation of documents and folders for CME programs, reviewing CME participant paperwork, preparation of CME certificates, emailing participant certificates and creating rosters of credits.

Set up/attend monthly Coffee Club Meeting for retired physicians (1st Wednesday of each month, 7:00a-9:30a).

 

Be available to work approximately 6-10 Saturday early morning CME programs during the Fall/Winter months, CME Annual Extended Conferences (November each year/possible Spring event) and other days/weekends during the year as needed.

 

Understands and adheres to Rowan University compliance standards as they appear in the Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Keeps abreast of all federal, state and RowanSOM.

Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  Bachelors’ Degree plus one (1) year of administrative experience. Must be proficient in computer applications as required by the department (i.e. Excel, Word). Demonstrated proficiency in prioritizing, managing simultaneous projects and successfully meeting deadlines.  Demonstrated ability to be a team player who works well and can adapt to a fast paced environment. Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirement.

 

This is a part-time position 15-19 hours per week, Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 9:00a-2:00p, however the days/hours can vary at times throughout the year due to CME courses and needs.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, and the university will not sponsor an applicant for a work visa for this position.
