The report also contains information about fire statistics in Rowan University Residential Facilities and crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. This information is required by federal law, Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act or "Clery Act" and is provided by the Rowan University Department of Public Safety.

Rowan University is subject to the residency requirements of the NJ First Act (N.J.S.A. 52:14-7, P.L. 2011, Chapter 70). Any person hired to a non-exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey or have one (1) year from the date of employment to establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey. Job Title:  Part-time Operations Support Specialist

Overview:  This part-time, hourly position is responsible for assisting the Rohrer College of Business Dean’s Office in matters related to day-to-day operations and operational planning.  Work hours will be scheduled during normal business hours (8:30am - 4:30pm) and will not exceed 25 hours per week. This position reports directly to the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Studies in the College of Business.


  • Provide administrative support of the Sedona database, including but not limited to: data entry of adjunct activities, teaching schedule upload, reviewing faculty records for accuracy, and maintenance of various Sedona lists, as well as providing technical support and communication about process changes to RCB faculty members.
  • Assist with tracking departmental compliance with the adjunct faculty AACSB qualifications process
  • Maintain adjunct handbook and orientation materials and ensure they remain current
  • Manage the annual faculty awards process
  • Utilize Banner Administrative Pages to process student registration adjustments and overrides as requested by the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Studies
  • Update Excel spreadsheets and Google Sheets with tracking information for various processes and file related documentation appropriately
  • Assist in maintaining organization of the RCB Open Area network folders
  • Produce reports and create spreadsheets using Excel, Cognos, Dashboard, and Banner
  • Create surveys through Google and Qualtrics, and compile data as needed
  • Provide course scheduling support to the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Studies as needed
  • Complete necessary hiring documentation and required Provost Office forms for faculty teaching BUS courses and provide administrative support to BUS course faculty members
  • Assist with coordination of various Rohrer College of Business events as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) 
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and excel in using new software and systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in using Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience using Google Applications
  • Experience using Banner Administrative Pages, Banner Self-service, and Canvas preferred (not required)
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
