Position Summary:
The newly established Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine (SSVM) of Rowan University is seeking applications for a tenure-track or non-tenure track position at the faculty rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to lead preclinical instruction in Veterinary Physiology.
Successful candidates will be expected to participate in the teaching, service, and research mission of the SSVM. Teaching responsibilities will include the design, implementation, and delivery of an integrated professional curriculum constructed around organ-system blocks as well as participation in graduate training programs. Candidates are expected to train and supervise DVM and graduate students, develop and maintain an extramurally funded research program (depending on the track). Opportunities for collaborative research exist within the School and the University as a whole. Scholarly activities involving basic, translational, clinical, or pedagogical research are encouraged.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include a doctoral degree (DVM, PhD, or equivalent). Additional graduate degrees, board certification, or board eligibility are desirable. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the term of employment. Candidates with clinical practice responsibilities must hold or be eligible to obtain licensure as a Veterinarian in the State of New Jersey.
Salary & Benefits:
In compliance with the State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $165,000. When extending any salary offer, Rowan University considers many factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, work experience, education, training, key skills, internal equity, as well as market and other organizational considerations.

The Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine is located on the Glassboro, New Jersey west campus, 22 miles southeast of Philadelphia. The Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine plans to admit its first class of DVM students in 2025. Facilities will include an academic teaching facility aimed at the delivery of pre-clinical training, a small animal teaching hospital, and a research facility.
