Job description:
Serving the counties of Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, and
Salem, the Learning Resource Center-South (LRC-S) at Rowan University provides parents and
families of students with disabilities, ages 3-21, and the educational professionals who serve
those students, including pre-service teachers and advocacy group members, with the
understanding, ability, skills, and access to information, knowledge, and training that enables
them to perform effectively. In addition to the establishment of a resource library and increasing
access to materials related to special education, the LRC-S at Rowan provides opportunities to
learn for teachers and leaders. In consultation with OSEPD, these opportunities range from
universal and targeted professional learning to intensive consultation within the region.
This part-time position will report to the LRC-S Director of Operations and Programming and be
responsible for coordinating the delivery and collection of LRC-S resource materials to various
schools and communities in southern New Jersey and will also assist with the everyday
activities of the LRC-S center. |
