SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Assessment, coordinate, track and monitor assessment unit functions and project workplans and manage the reporting of assessment outcomes and reporting to meet accreditation standards. Responsible for data collection, data cleaning, and generating summary charts and reports. Perform direct administrative and budgetary functions in support of the Associate Dean of Assessment. Collaborate on IPACC and PESA committee functions and serve as a liaison with leadership, faculty, and staff across academic and clinical units in fulfilling assessment activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate, monitor, and track assessment unit functions and project workplans and timelines. Manage the reporting of outcome reports/presentations to meet accreditation requirements. Prepare quarterly reports for executive leadership, executive council, and committee meetings.

Perform executive, administrative (meetings/calendar, travel, communication, etc.) and budgetary functions in support of the Associate Dean of Assessment.

Collaborate on the work of the Individual Performance Assessment and Competency Coaching (IPACC) Committee. Assist with compiling and reviewing student data and preparing presentation slides and meeting materials. Manage written communication and reporting of committee actions and student progress reporting. Record committee proceedings/outcomes and prepare reports and ad-hoc data summaries.

Collaborate on the work of the Program Evaluation and Student Assessment (PESA) Committee. Responsible for compiling review materials, data tables and charts, and related documents. Manage document sharing, and course review scheduling/tracking. Prepare agendas and record committee proceedings/outcomes and compile reports and ad-hoc data summaries.

Manage data exports and cleaning from internal and external sources; create spreadsheets using formulas and functions, Pivot tables, charts, and graphics; and perform mail merge tasks. Conduct quality assurance review on all data sources and ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all work tasks.

Produce accurate written communication, documents, PowerPoint slides, and forms; assist in the preparation and editing of policies and standard operating procedures, comprehensive reports and manuscripts, abstracts and posters, IRB applications, and grant applications for the assessment unit.

Participate in the development and administration of online surveys and output/interpret summary reports.

Establish and maintain well-organized and detailed record-keeping systems and confidential records, academic files, and other committee and academic-related documents for assessment and accreditation.

Serve as a liaison and respond to inquiries from various committees and administrative units of the University.

Support front office functions across Academic Affairs units including addressing questions, problem-solving, and reception functions.

Conduct literature searches and access online resources to support academic and assessment-related projects.

Participate in special projects and other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Liberal Arts, Public or Business Administration, or related social sciences field is required plus one (1) year of professional level experience, preferably in a higher education setting. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with experience in composing effective written correspondence and professionally prepared documents. Must have strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines and problem solve. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is required. Must demonstrate a high level of proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience managing data in Excel spreadsheets and generating summary charts and reports is required. Familiarity with Qualtrics, Google Drive, Webex/Zoom, Canvas and other learning/curriculum management systems, and Microsoft Teams preferred.
