Under the direction of the Director of The Wellness Center and the Associate Director of Counseling and Psychological Services, the Licensed Clinical/Counseling Psychologist is responsible to provide the following services for University students: mental health intake assessments; triage evaluations; psychological evaluations; treatment planning; individual and group mental health psychotherapy; crisis intervention; psychological first aid; case management; referral services; and, supervision of graduate and doctoral level trainees. The Licensed Psychologist works with university and Student Life staff across the following areas: the Student Success Programs, ASCEND, Campus Recreation and the Center for Student Belonging and Student Engagement; as well as community agencies to assist or lead the development and delivery of relevant programs, presentations, and events.
The Licensed Psychologist hired for this position will be responsible for services at the Glassboro campus. The Licensed Psychologist provides confidentiality, accuracy and integrity of client interactions, treatment protocols and records. The Licensed Psychologist will provide direct clinical care, supervision to trainees, and may coordinate a specific program as identified by the Director.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Ph.D./Psy.D.in Counseling or Clinical Psychology is required.
Experience: Our ideal candidate possesses an understanding of intersectionality and how it impacts the daily lives of student, faculty and staff. Cultural competence is of utmost importance. We seek individuals who are collaborative in nature, have strong communication skills, practice good self-care, maintain healthy boundaries, and possess the ability to manage a challenging workload while promoting a positive atmosphere and healthy relationships.
Two to five years clinical experience working in a mental health setting with demonstrated experience working with adolescent/young adult populations; performing risk assessments, intake evaluations, individual and group psychotherapy.
Two years, post-licensure, experience supervising graduate and doctoral students.
Licensures/Certifications: Licensed as a Psychologist in the State of New Jersey.
Salary & Benefits:
In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is AFT: Range 24, $73,899.91 to $84,980.25 with placement within the range determined by candidate's qualifications, professional experience, internal equity, and other factors.
