The selected candidates will be integral in developing the Exotic Animal service within our new Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, currently under construction in Mullica Hill, NJ. The selected candidates will provide comprehensive veterinary care for exotic patients within the service. They will have direct responsibility for teaching and evaluation of both DVM and veterinary technology students, interns, and residents in the clinical setting. Didactic teaching of exotic animal medicine and surgery within the pre-clinical years and coordination of including hands-on training experiences during the 3rd year are essential components of the role.
Successful candidates will have demonstrated expertise in exotic animal medicine and surgery including completion of an Exotics residency program (ABVP-Companion Mammal, ABVP-Avian, ABVP-Reptile/Amphibian or ACZM) and be Board-Eligible or ABVP or ACZM Board-Certified. |
