The Director of Administration, in collaboration with the Department Chair and Rowan Medicine Administration (RMA), provides organizational leadership and operational oversight for the department. Reporting directly to the Department Chair, this role manages key operational, financial, compliance, human resources, and administrative functions that support the department's clinical, educational, and research missions. The Director of Administration supervises administrative personnel, ensures effective communication and collaboration across stakeholders, and develops systems and processes that support departmental goals. This position serves as a liaison between the department and university, Rowan Medicine, and external partners, while promoting operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and strategic growth. Depending on departmental structure and needs, the Director may oversee clinical, educational, research, and business operations.
Senior .NET Engineer, DMAHS Grant (Hamilton, NJ) Stratford, New Jersey
Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine is searching for a Senior .NET Engineer to join their team. This individual will design, develop, and maintain robust web applications, APIs, and batch processes utilizing C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and modern front-end frameworks. Core tasks involve comprehensive Oracle database management—including schema optimization and writing complex PL/SQL stored procedures—as well as diagnosing system issues and maintaining detailed technical documentation. This role requires active collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and manage deployments, alongside participating in code reviews and providing technical mentorship.
Associate Dean, Campbell Library Glassboro, New Jersey
The Associate Dean, Campbell Library, is the senior administrator responsible for the vision, leadership, and effective operation of Rowan University's main library in Glassboro. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice Chancellor for Information Resources and Technology, the Associate Dean leads Campbell Library as an academic, cultural, research, student-success, and technology hub and ensures that its people, spaces, collections, services, and systems advance the University's mission. The Associate Dean is accountable for coordinating performance across Campbell Library's leadership and service portfolio, including Teaching & Learning, Access Services and Facilities Operations, Collection Services, Discovery Services, Library Technology Services, and related programs and administrative functions. The role leads through Campbell Library's leadership structure and establishes clear priorities, decision rights, service expectations, and accountability for results. Campbell Library’s technology, discovery, collection, licensing, and service functions support users across Rowan University. The Associate Dean is responsible for Campbell's delivery of those shared functions and works in close collaboration with libraries serving Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU), Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine (Rowan-Virtua SOM), and the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine (SSVM).

Residency Requirements

Rowan University is subject to the residency requirements of the NJ First Act (N.J.S.A. 52:14-7, P.L. 2011, Chapter 70). Any person hired to a non-exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey or have one (1) year from the date of employment to establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey. Any person hired to an exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York or have ninety (90) days from the date of employment to establish, then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York.

Note on STEM-OPT Employment
Please note that STEM OPT employment is not permitted at Rowan University. To be eligible for a STEM OPT extension, the student's employer must be registered in E-Verify and must use the system to verify all new employees. While Rowan University is registered in the E-Verify system, the University does not use the system to verify all new employees, only those that are working on a Federal Contract. This means that Rowan does not permit individuals to work at the University using a STEM OPT Employment Authorization Document as proof of US Work Authorization.

Annual Security and Fire Safety Report

The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is available on the Rowan University Police Department (RUPD), Clery Act webpage here. 

The report contains information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as crime prevention, RUPD authority/jurisdiction, crime reporting policies, fire safety, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to security on all our campuses. The report also contains information about fire statistics in Rowan University on-campus student housing facilities and crime statistics for the three previous calendar years, including reported crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. This information is required by federal law, Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act or the "Clery Act" and is provided by the Rowan University Police Department.
