The newly established Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine (SSVM) of Rowan University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the faculty rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to lead preclinical instruction in Veterinary Immunology.  Successful candidates will play a pivotal role in the teaching, service, and research mission of SSVM.  Teaching responsibilities include designing, implementing, and delivering an integrated professional curriculum centered around organ-system blocks. The role also involves active participation in graduate training programs. Candidates are expected to mentor and train DVM and graduate students, establish and sustain an extramurally funded research program. Opportunities for collaborative research exist within the school and the broader University. Scholarly activities, including basic, translational, clinical, or pedagogical research, are strongly encouraged. 
Grant Writer/Medical Writer, Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine of Rowan University Camden, New Jersey
The Grant Writer/Medical Writer works closely with the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies at the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine. This role involves developing, writing, and submitting grant proposals, actively identifying funding opportunities, preparing grant summaries for distribution to departments, managing budgets, writing budget justifications, composing narrative sections of proposals, completing attachments, writing manuscripts and abstracts/summaries, preparing presentations and posters, attending research committee meetings, taking meeting minutes, and performing other related functions. 
Research Associate, Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine of Rowan University Camden, New Jersey
A full-time Research Associate position is available in the lung pharmacology laboratory at Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine, led by the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies. Specifically, the lab focuses on themes of lung biology, corticosteroid resistance, glucocorticoid signaling, cytokine networks in lung cells and precision medicine (Durham A et al., Curr Pharm Des. 2011). The lab uses a wide variety of approaches and models to study glucocorticoid signaling, lung cell biology and pro-inflammatory cytokine gene expression. This role involves supporting studies and experiments in the laboratory, including western blot analysis, DNA and RNA isolations, PCR, qPCR, and cell culture in addition to maintaining a detailed daily experiment log, overseeing reagents inventory, ordering supplies, and contributing to general lab management and organization.  
Associate Director of Admissions - Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine (SSVM) of Rowan University Glassboro, New Jersey
Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine (SSVM) of Rowan University is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to assume the role of Associate Director for Admissions.  As a key member of the founding administration, this individual will lead the development and oversight of recruitment programs and manage the admissions process for the DVM and 3+4 Accelerated BS/DVM Pathway programs.  Working within the Office of Student Success, the Associate Director for Admissions will interact with various stakeholders across SSVM and Rowan University, including financial aid, registrar, and admissions offices.  The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the shaping of our student body, ensuring high standards of academic excellence, diversity, and a commitment to the SSVM mission.  The Associate Director for Admissions will report to the Associate Dean for Student Success.

Residency Requirements

Rowan University is subject to the residency requirements of the NJ First Act (N.J.S.A. 52:14-7, P.L. 2011, Chapter 70). Any person hired to a non-exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey or have one (1) year from the date of employment to establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey. Any person hired to an exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York or have ninety (90) days from the date of employment to establish, then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York.
