Excellent opportunity to be part of an outstanding multidisciplinary Institute, co-founded by Esther Deblinger, PhD, co-developer of Trauma-Focused CBT, committed to developing and providing the highest caliber evidenced-based clinical services. Responsibilities include providing psychosocial evaluations and/or comprehensive psychological evaluations (extended forensic evaluations) with children in suspected cases of child abuse/trauma and providing evidence-based therapy to children who have experienced abuse and other traumas. Participation in CARES’ self-care and professional development opportunities as well.  Therapy services are provided in-person and/or by telehealth, and we offer the possibility of some remote work. Full-time position with excellent benefits. 

Psychologist candidates must possess a Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. and be licensed in NJ. Psychologists licensed in another state will be considered if eligible for a NJ unsupervised permit.  Experience with forensic mental health evaluations preferred. 

Record of respect and openness towards people whose social and cultural background is different from one’s own required.

Travel to the CARES Vineland office or CP&P office(s) required.

Evening hours are required two days per week.
