SUMMARY

Serve as Program Coordinator to implement and oversee grant activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Works under the direction of the Project Director (or designee) and other grant personnel to implement the proposed activities in the grant.
  • Collaborates with the Project Evaluator to ensure all required data per GPRA is collected and entered.
  • Participates in all required grant-training and become familiar with required federal platforms including but not limited to eRACommons and SPARS.
  • Attends meetings as required.
  • Works in collaboration with the Program Director and Co-Director to prepare reports and spreadsheets containing aggregate data findings, analyses, conclusions, and recommendations as requested. Assists in preparation of reports required by Grant Sponsor.
  • Works in collaboration with grant-related partners at Maryville Addiction Treatment Center and Hope Exists Foundation.
  • Understands and adheres to Rowan SOM compliance standards as they appear in the Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy
  • Keeps abreast of all federal, state and Rowan University regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
  • Is available for travel as required between Rowan SOM, Glassboro Main Campus, Maryville Treatment Centers in Gloucester and Cumberland County, and Hope Exits in Atlantic County, to fulfill the grant requirements.
  • Performs other grant-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office with excellent Power Point skills. Graduate degree in healthcare administration with experience in managing federal grants preferred. Effective oral and written communications skills and able to function in a team environment are a must. Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate the efforts of a team to accomplish objectives. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands:

May be required to work off hours as needed to meet grant deadlines. Must be able to attend meetings in other buildings and at off-site locations.

This is a Full-Time, Temporary Grant Funded position.  Duration of grant is for approximately 3 years or when funding ends
