Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine is currently seeking a full-time faculty member to join the Department of Family Medicine. In support of SOM’s mission and vision, the selected candidate will provide and manage direct patient care at one or more of the out-patient clinical offices located in the Southern New Jersey area. The candidate will also have an active role in the training and education of medical students, interns, residents and fellows.


Additionally, the candidate will have the opportunity to participate in faculty development. Highlights include:

• Participate in the education and mentorship of medical students at Rowan-Virtua SOM

The selected candidate must hold the following:
• Valid NJ Medical License
• CDS
• DEA
• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine

Our main clinical campus is located in the Philadelphia metropolitan area approximately 8 miles from Philadelphia, 1 hour from the Atlantic Ocean and 2 hours from New York City.

In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this AAUP position is

  • Instructor:  ($ 100,787 to $ 136,800) *
  • Assistant Professor:  ($ 123,083 to $ 167,264) *
  • Associate Professor:  ($ 146,089 to $ 198,535) *
  • Full Professor:  ($ 170,255 to $ 231,285) *

*Placement within the range is determined by candidate's qualifications, professional experience, and other factors.  For clinical faculty positions, additional compensation paid through supplemental funding based on regional benchmarking standards and internal equity by specialty.

• This faculty appointment is tenure eligible and may be granted upon successful completion of criteria listed in the Rowan-Virtua SOM Faculty Bylaws.
• Faculty Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor is pending review and recommendation made by the Faculty Affairs Committee.
