Digital Marketing & Media Specialist, Learning Resource Center-South, College of Education

The Learning Resource Center-South located at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to serve as digital marketing and media specialist. This position will be responsible for creating and managing new content for the LRC-S website, databases, webinars, workshops, social media, and listservs. Will work with the LRC-S team to develop and launch marketing campaigns for community outreach and engagement. The digital marketing and media specialist will also collaborate with the state-wide LRC network and within Rowan University to help support LRC engagement and to support Rowan College of Education initiatives that align with the LRC grant’s mission and vision.

Supervision

This position reports to the LRC-S Director of Professional Development and Education Services.

Responsibilities

  • Content Management of the LRC-South website by developing/maintaining Cascade CMS web pages and content marketing

  • Web/Design Accessibility

  • Event Planning

  • Social Media Marketing - Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube

  • Networking and building partnerships within the LRC Network and Rowan University

  • LRC Brand Management

  • Email marketing, outreach, and dissemination plans for all events and resources

  • Communication campaigns and develop videos for LRC-S and network

  • Using photography/videography equipment and technologies

  • Data management, reporting, and visualization 

  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • BA Communications, Public Relations, or related field

  • Skilled communicator, orally, written, and visual

  • Design skills for flyers and materials

  • Experience with Cascade, Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite

  • Final Cut Pro

  • Cascade CMS & WordPress

  • Constant Contact

  • Google Suite

  • Microsoft Office

  • Social Media Management Platforms

  • Facebook Insights & Ad Manager

  • Twitter Analytics

SALARY & BENEFITS:

In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is AFT: Range 21 $61,674.63 to $70,933.34, with placement within the range determined by candidate's qualifications, professional experience, internal equity, and other factors.

For eligible employees, benefits include: comprehensive NJ State health, dental and retirement benefits, extensive accrued time off/paid holidays, and tuition reimbursement for employee, spouse, and dependents to attend Rowan University, Glassboro. (Tuition reimbursement will apply to undergraduate degrees only for spouse and dependents).”
