The Department of Management at Rowan University is seeking to hire a non-tenure track Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor with an appointment to begin September 1, 2026.
The Department of Management administers three undergraduate majors, a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, and several undergraduate and graduate certificates, concentrations, and minors. It is also responsible for about half of the undergraduate-level and graduate-level core courses that are required for all business majors.
Responsibilities for this position include teaching undergraduate courses in business law and related topics. Courses may be offered in person or online. Candidates must be available to teach day or evening classes. The Department of Management is specifically interested in candidates who are passionate about teaching and mentoring students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition to teaching responsibilities, successful candidates are expected to make meaningful and substantive service contributions to undergraduate and graduate programs, service to the department, the college and the university. Successful candidates are also expected to participate in professional development to stay current in their content area and evidence-based instructional approaches.
Assistant or Associate Teaching Professors for this position are expected to hold a JD (or its professional equivalent). The teaching positions are 10-month, full-time, non-tenure track appointments. Successful candidates will teach 24 credits over two semesters, with an option to teach overload and summer classes for additional compensation. Positions are renewable based on performance reviews and programmatic needs.

SALARY
In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is:
- Assistant Teaching Professor: Ranges 21-24
- Associate Teaching Professor: Ranges 25-27
