The Department of Entrepreneurship at Rowan University is seeking to hire a full-time, non-tenure track teaching-focused faculty member with an appointment to begin September 1, 2026. The position is a twelve-months full-time, non-tenure track teaching faculty with additional responsibilities in an operational capacity supporting the Rohrer College of Business. Teaching faculty positions receive an initial two-year contract that is renewable, with expectations for continuing reappointment.
The Department of Entrepreneurship is specifically interested in candidates who possess a multi-disciplinary industry background with proven practice experience in a variety of business settings including entrepreneurial/start-up endeavors. An understanding of the technology issues facing today’s businesses, moving start-ups through the funding cycle, and deep operational experience are strongly preferred. Experience working in international settings is a plus. Entrepreneurship supports multiple majors and minors, the MBA program, and a variety of certificates. Candidates must be passionate about teaching and mentoring students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates must be available to teach day or evening classes. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will support the day-to-day physical infrastructure operations of the College. Serve is commensurate with rank. Participation in professional development to stay current in their content area and evidence-based instructional approaches is expected.
Non-tenure track Teaching Professors for this position are expected to hold a terminal degree (e.g., PhD, DBA) or its professional equivalent. Relevant industry experience, high-quality teaching at the college level, and a background in the technical aspects of physical building infrastructure/practical engineering concepts are required. The position carries a 24 credit teaching load over two semesters, with an option to teach overload and summer classes for additional compensation.

SALARY
In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is:
- Assistant Teaching Professor (12-month): Ranges 24-27
- Associate Teaching Professor (12-month): Ranges 28-30
- Teaching Professor (12-month): Ranges 31-33
