The Assistant Director of Recruitment and Outreach reporting to the Assistant Dean of Admissions develops recruitment strategies and assists Admissions Office with strategic implementation of recruitment activities by identifying strong recruitment territories and developing and executing recruitment initiatives. This position will oversee student recruitment initiatives which include; presentations to groups, managing the student recruitment calendar for pre-med fairs, email campaigns, social media mediums and developing new ways to use technology to market Rowan-Virtua SOM. The Assistant Director will work with marketing staff, university personnel and third-party organizations to continue high quality, mission-related candidates applying to medical school through strategic recruitment. The position will also work with mission-related high school and college students to provide programming that will enable and motivate the young students to engage in STEM education with the goal of entering medical school. The Assistant Director of Recruitment and Outreach provides support for meeting enrollment goals. The Assistant Director of Recruitment and Outreach must have strong written and oral communication and project management skills, be an effective team player, and excellent organizer to handle multiple tasks. |
