The staff in the Center for Student Success at Rowan-Virtua SOM provide academic and career advising services for the medical students on the Rowan-Virtua SOM campus. CSS advisors are student advocates, highly-collaborative, and deeply invested in student success. The Program Coordinator is a full-time professional role that supports students in the earlier part of their medical school curriculum. Clinician/Therapist (LAC/LSW) (Social Worker II) Stratford, New Jersey, Vineland, New Jersey
Approved clinical supervision provided toward LCSW/LPC. Gain experience utilizing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), a short-term, evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. As part of a multidisciplinary team under the direction of Esther Deblinger, Ph.D., co-developer of TF-CBT, responsibilities include conducting assessments of children who have experienced trauma and providing therapy to children and families impacted by child sexual abuse, physical abuse, and other traumas. Residency Requirements

Rowan University is subject to the residency requirements of the NJ First Act (N.J.S.A. 52:14-7, P.L. 2011, Chapter 70). Any person hired to a non-exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey or have one (1) year from the date of employment to establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey. Any person hired to an exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York or have ninety (90) days from the date of employment to establish, then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York.
