Job Title: Clinical Program Coordinator/Social Worker

SUMMARY
In accordance with professional social work standards and requirements of the funded grant, will serve as Clinical Program Coordinator to implement and oversee grant activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Works with the Project Director and Program Supervisor to implement the proposed activities in the grant.
Coordinates with Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office for deployment of Veteran Peer Recovery Coaches.
Perform VA required assessments to determine veteran eligibility for grant services.
Participates in required training for the grant and attends meetings as required.
Assists in the preparation of reports and spreadsheets containing findings, analyses, conclusions, and recommendations as requested.
Understands and adheres to Rowan SOM compliance standards as they appear in the Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
Keeps abreast of all federal, state and Rowan University regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
Travel will be required between Rowan SOM and Atlantic County to fulfill the grant requirements.
Required travel to Washington DC for Veteran’s Affairs trainings.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's of Social Work required. Extensive experience working with individuals with substance use disorders. Experience working with veterans and/or the VA is preferred. Familiarity with the following assessments: SES, PHQ-9, SWEMWS, Generalized Self-Efficacy Scale, and ISEL-12 a plus. Must be computer proficient and able to perform tasks in MS Office and Excel and Google Drive. Must possess a valid driver’s license. May be required to follow a varied schedule which may include occasional evenings, and weekends.
This is a Full-Time Temporary Grant Funded position.
