The Student Evaluations System Manager & Faculty Center Programming Assistant is responsible for managing and maintaining the university-wide system and processes for online student surveys of teaching effectiveness. This includes overseeing site administration, coordinating with relevant teams, providing end user support, managing complications, revising instructions, and updating training materials. Additionally, they will work closely with the Director and Assistant Director to oversee Faculty Center Announcements, grant/award offerings, and faculty support programming.

Primary Function:

• Take responsibility for management of the systems for online student surveys of teaching effectiveness that fall under the purview of the Faculty Center. Duties will include:
• Help faculty & students with their inquiries, managing complications that arise, revising instructions for all end-users as systems change, and working with appropriate parties to ensure accurate release dates and timely reports.
• Update & streamline training materials for the student evaluations system.
• Manage and oversee the site administration of this each semester for every part of term offered; estimated use: 100% of courses each semester (4000+ course sections).

Additional duties as time permits:

• Work with the Assistant Director to develop & deliver biweekly Faculty Center Announcements.
• Work with the Director & Assistant Director to oversee, implement, and review the current grant/award offerings.
• Work with the Director & Assistant Director to support efforts to evaluate programming.

 

Rate: $25 per hour

Hours: 

  • This temporary, part-time position is assigned no more than twenty-five (25) hours per week and is not to exceed 944 hours per fiscal year. Work is contracted annually to coincide with the fiscal year and is contingent upon budget appropriations.
